How long have you been around?
Cerebellum Corporation was founded in 1992.

What's the difference between the "Standard Deviants" and "Standard Deviants School" products?
Standard Deviants School (SDS) products are optimized for classroom use. SDS programs are shorter than Standard Deviants (SD) programs (to fit in allotted class time) and contain full public performance rights necessary for classroom use. SD products can also be used in classroom situations, but their longer running times and lack of performance rights makes these titles better suited for use by students and home schoolers.

What's with those "Standard Deviants?"
The name is a play on the statistics term "standard deviation." Standard deviation measures the degree of variance from the norm. We believe that our products offer a unique perspective - a deviation - on the traditional teaching style.

How do you make your educational videos? Where do you get your information?
Our writers review textbooks and school syllabi to determine the "required core material" in a given subject. Then, working with one or more college professors, our writers learn the material. The writers study textbooks, take classes and work with the professors to make sure that they cover everything you need to know... and that they present the information clearly and accurately.

Are your programs suitable for my child?
We pride ourselves on our ability to explain difficult material with simple explanations and illustrations, but it depends upon the child. Some children can handle material well above their grade level. We suggest that you look at the material covered in your child's textbook and see how it compares to the topics covered in the program you're considering. Do your products come with public performance rights?
Our Standard Deviants School line contains full public performance rights.

Do these materials coordinate to my state's standards?
Our writing staff has created these materials based on a review of major state educational standards. The material in these videos and CD-ROMs covers materials that are required for that subject, according to most state educational standards.

Is this a complete home school curriculum?
Sorry, but no. Our products, while comprehensive, are best used to supplement your curriculum. Many home schooling parents use our products in parts to introduce a new topic.

Do you have books to go with your programs?
We have Sidekicks (digital workbooks on cdrom) available for several subjects: Accounting, Algebra, Basic Math, Chemistry, Finance, Geology, Psychology, and Spanish.

How do you make your fitness videos? Where do you get your information?
Many of our fitness programs are original programming developed by Natural Journeys for Cerebellum. We identify and work with the best talent in the industry to conceive of and develop programs that address consumer's health and fitness needs. We consistently monitor industry trends to understand consumer hot buttons and needs in terms of fitness disciplines, run times, extra features and bonus content. We then develop programming accordingly. Cerebellum and Natural Journeys remain diligent to creating fitness programs that are effective in helping consumers meet their health and fitness goals.

 
Are your programs suitable for all fitness levels?
We offer many programs for beginners, and many of our programs show modifications for all fitness levels. The fitness and intensity level is addressed on the packaging, so the consumer can see if the program is a fit for them. Natural Journeys offers a full array of fitness programming to fit all levels and needs.

 
Where do you find your Fitness talent?
Cerebellum has the highest of standards when it comes to working with fitness talent. We have programming from some of the most well known talent in our library, including Tamilee Webb, Sara Ivanhoe, Lizbeth Garcia, Cindy Whitmarsh, and more. All are certified trainers with years of experience training and teaching classes.
