The Standard Deviants explore Titus Andronicus, Shakespeare's first tragedy - a flawed, but promising play - to highlight what makes a great tragedy, and to reveal that even Shakespeare had to learn his craft. Additionally, the program provides insight into understanding the poetry, characters, and plot of Romeo and Juliet. Finally, the program provides easy-to-understand approaches to Shakespeare's best-known and perhaps most complex work, Hamlet.
