The Standard Deviants begin at the beginning with Shakespeare's first tragedy, Titus Andronicus. This revenge play is knee-deep in blood and bile. Titus Andronicus may not be as good as other Shakespeare plays, but it's great at showing what tragedy was like in his day, and at showing his development as a tragedian.
